How it is made

Prosecco DOC Rosé is obtained from Glera grapes (the same as in the traditional white Prosecco) with the addition of Pinot Noir grapes (10-15%). Once harvested, grapes are gently crushed and are then kept at low temperatures for one night, with a short time of skin maceration. On the following day skins are separated from the must. It is the skins of the Pinot Noir grapes that provide the typical pale pink colour of this wine. The first fermentation then takes place, in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The second fermentation, also carried out in tanks at a controlled temperature, allows to reach the desired level of residual sugar.

Vitigni

Our winemaker

Prosecco Rosé is a sparkling wine where the main grape, Glera, is blended with Pinot Noir, synonym for elegance and character, fermented on the skins. The result is a sophisticated wine but which is at the same time easy to approach due to its fruity and light notes.
