Balanced: this is said of a wine with a satisfying equilibrium between the various components that determine its taste and aroma

Blanc De Blancs: a sparkling wine made exclusively from white grapes

Blanc de Noirs: a sparkling wine made only from red grapes, vinified in bianco (without their skins)

Bottle-fermented (the Traditional or Classic Method): the term used to indicate a sparkling wine which has undergone fermentation and aging in bottle for at least 9 months, of which 90 days are on the lees. After this the lees are removed
